Wandering Folk began with Sharnee Thorpe who, inspired by a rainy camping trip, came up with the idea of creating a picnic rug that offered both style and dry comfort. Out of her home in Byron Bay, NSW, she dedicated herself to sourcing top-quality materials and transforming the traditional plaid picnic rug into her unique hand-drawn floral designs. Today, Wandering Folk expands its offerings beyond rugs to include exquisite throws and decorative glassware, beach accessories, bags and baskets.
